Loans available -- CFNE has money to lend

The Cooperative Fund of New England (CFNE) provides loans and technical assistance to cooperatives, worker-owned businesses, land trusts, nonprofit groups, low-income housing development organizations, health services, and community based organizations in New England. Thanks to the support of our generous investors, CFNE now has more funds available to finance start-ups, expansions, renovations, and upgrades, as well as to meet general working capital needs.

CFNE has been successfully providing loans and assistance to its target market for 35 years. Since 1975, CFNE has provided over $18.7 million to more than 480 borrowers. CFNE offers quick a response, flexible financing, and competitive rates.

CFNE offers:

  • a simple consensus loan review process
  • terms of 3 to 7 years that are renewable and may have flexible amortization schedules
  • competitive business rates that are currently in the 6% – 7.5% range
  • review of loan applications within 2 to 3 weeks of receipt and a Loan Committee that meets monthly
